Play ball with all your heart and soul! Go, Red Raiders!

Wishing you fairways and greens all day long! Go, Red Raiders!

Today, five Marlete students were honored at the GTC Academic All-Conference luncheon at Beagio's in Kingston. The Marlette Senior students are:
Emily Newland
Joseph Rohling
Adi Ruggles
Zane Greve
Brian Albertson
The students are our top 5 seniors who have performed with academic excellence. A formula takes the grades from their core classes, language classes, and ACT or SAT scores. From that calculation, students are ranked. The GTC honors the top 5 students in the senior class.
Our senior scholars have achieved remarkable academic success. We use their cumulative GPA and testing scores to determine their ranking. If a student achieves a score of 1700 or above, they are recognized as a senior scholar in Marlette, a sincere testament to their dedication and hard work.
Congratulations to all!

Due to our weather temperature, our Softball game is canceled.

Happy Earth Day, everyone! 🌎🌿 In Mrs. Cooper's 1st-grade class, students learned about the importance of keeping our planet clean and healthy. Kids discovered that the Earth has a layer of dirt underneath the grass and that the rain brings worms out to play. They made delicious dirt cups🌱 with chocolate pudding🍫, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms🐛 to celebrate their learning. The students loved the lesson and were inspired to write a letter to the Earth thanking it for all it does for us. Let's all take a moment to appreciate this beautiful planet we call home and do our part to protect it. #EarthDay

Today, 6th-12th graders at Marlette participated in an immersive experience of life at Auschwitz-Birkenau for Jewish prisoners in the 1940's. Six Million Voices facilitated the tour with a mission to inspire 6 million people to bear witness to the testimonies and atrocities that occurred during the Holocaust.
One student, Michelle Jackson, shared, "It was a very informational and touching experience to go through."
We want to thank the administration for supporting this event for our students. We hope our students learn from the past and develop consciousness, never to allow this baseless hatred to happen again.

Varsity Softball has added a game this week on Wednesday. Come out and cheer for our team. Go, Red Raiders!
