Merry Christmas to ALL Marlette residents and our Community Partners. Have a wonderful holiday.

There's a Varsity Girls Basketball game tonight, and NO school tomorrow. Let's show our support.

Mrs. Schmidt's class had a visit from Santa today. They also received their December book (Ty's Travel) and wanted to thank the class sponsors for helping grow their home libraries. The children enjoyed reading the book on pajama day too!

Mrs. Thompson’s 4th graders created an adorable holiday keepsake thanks to donations from community members. Let's get ready for the holidays!

We are still collecting donations for the Williams family. Please feel free to use the QR Code to send your donation. It is a gift that is hugely appreciated and does not need to be wrapped.

R - Respectful
O - On Task
A - Amazing Attitude
R - Responsible
Mia Liu (6th grade)
Mia works hard in the classroom and at her family's Chinese restaurant. She always comes to class prepared and on task and excels in all her academic studies. She is kind to all her classmates, helpful, and pushes herself to do her best. Mia speaks two languages fluently, represented Mrs. Kady's class in the 6th-grade Spelling Bee, and has beautiful penmanship. She is very much worthy of the ROAR award!
Ethan Muxlow (7th grade)
Ethan is polite and respectful at all times. He is kind and courteous to teachers and classmates. He participates in class discussions and is a wonderful human. Thank you, Ethan, for making good choices!
Gabriele Williams (8th grade)
Gabe is willing to help out his peers in class without being asked. He participates in class discussions and always completes his work on time. He is polite, kind, and respectful, and uses his manners. He is always prepared and is a delight to have in class. Thank you for being AMAZING!

Students in Kayla Prill's class worked on a 1-page project for A Christmas Carol. Instead of writing a traditional literary analysis, students were encouraged to explore similar aspects, such as theme, symbolism, and figurative language, and add creative flair.

Mrs. Gentry's classroom won the GRANTMAS Christmas Tree decorating contest! Students worked together to create a holiday decoration that was definitely prize worthy.

Good luck to our JV and Varsity teams tonight, you've got this!

Good luck to our wrestlers today! Thank you for representing our district with pride.

Have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday break.

Congratulations to Charlotte Kelly (1st grade), Zoey Bliss (2nd grade), and Chase Gritzinger (3rd grade) for winning the Christmas coloring contest organized by Marlette Tri-County Bank! It's fantastic to see such talented young artists. Their classmates win, too, as they will have a pizza or donut party provided by the bank. It's such a generous gesture from Marlette Tri-County Bank to support and appreciate the creativity of our young students. A special shout-out to Mrs. Kendra Jickling for delivering the prizes and making the day even more special for the winners.
