Alternative Education Program

The Alternative Program at Marlette Community Schools is designed to provide a supportive and flexible learning environment for students who may need a different approach to education. This program caters to those who thrive outside the traditional classroom setting, offering personalized instruction tailored to individual learning styles and needs.
Emphasizing both academic growth and social-emotional development, the Alternative Program encourages students to engage in project-based learning and hands-on activities that foster critical thinking and collaboration. Students can benefit from smaller class sizes, which allow for more one-on-one attention from teachers and staff.
Additionally, the program focuses on building essential life skills to prepare students for future success, whether that leads to further education, vocational opportunities, or a seamless transition into adulthood. Through a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, Marlette's Alternative Program aims to empower students, helping them to achieve their fullest potential while instilling confidence and a love for learning.
