We are excited to inform you that the delicious popcorn you ordered during our fundraiser will be delivered on Wednesday, May 29th. If your child has a large order, it must be picked up at the school, as students cannot take large orders on the bus. We appreciate your support and look forward to you receiving your tasty treats.

Mrs. Shell's class had a fantastic time on their field trip to the park today. The sunshine and hint of summer in the air made the outing even more enjoyable. The students had a great time playing together, cherishing these moments as they anticipate the changes that will come with new classrooms next year.

Gayle’s Trail has undergone significant enhancements in the past few weeks, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Marlette Community Schools, Great Start Collaborative of Sanilac County, and Marlette Library. 1) RLS Rutherford Sealcoating has diligently upgraded the Trail with a fresh coat of seal coating and has also provided new stencils along the Trail. 2) The Great Start Collaborative has introduced a truly innovative feature along the Trail-the Storywalk. This unique addition invites trail-goers to embark on a literary journey, enjoying a story at 20 different spots as they walk along the Trail. 3) The Marlette Library will regularly refresh the featured book, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all trail users. We are thrilled to join forces to benefit the students and the Marlette community!

2 DAYS AWAY - FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - There is still time to register. Teenagers are often misunderstood and unheard, but author Chris Crutcher reminds us to listen to them. In his novels, young protagonists grapple with tough challenges, such as disabilities, prejudice, and abuse. Through his books, Crutcher shows that teenagers have a unique perspective on the world and that we should take the time to listen to them. Let's start a conversation about supporting and empowering young people better. The author will visit Marlette on May 23rd at 6:00 p.m., and families are encouraged to attend. Please register using the QR Code.
