Our bus drivers have a combined 113 years of service driving our students! Seven bus routes transport roughly 460 students, and our drivers clock about that many miles per day. Our drivers are very early morning risers, braving all types of weather and encountering challenges daily. Their number one priority is keeping 'their' kids safe.

Mrs. Gentry's students participated in the First Impression Competition and showed creativity with their writing and art. Students submitted work in all categories (poetry, 3D, 2D, and drawing). Some students wrote poems about our State of Michigan from their hearts, making their talent visible as young authors. And most importantly, as always, hard work gets rewarded. The class has six students selected to represent Marlette Elementary School and to celebrate their achievements at Sanilac Career Center. Congratulations to: Amy Liu Austin Vanderpoel Blake Warren Elliott Davidson Madison Hill Noelle Wilber Thank you for representing our Marlette spirit!

Our students have been reading books by Dr. Seuss during reading month, and it's incredible how timeless his books are! The rhymes, the illustrations, and the messages are all delightful and still relevant today. Teachers and students also enjoyed dressing up like characters in his books this month.
