Ms. Laursen's class combined their writing and craft for May for their Student Spotlight board. They got to create their own butterfly using whatever color they wanted for the different parts. Once it was all put together, students wrote about what butterflies can do on their All About Butterflies sheet. They can't wait until the end of the year when they get to take their whole folder of work home to share with their families!

Due to athletic schedules, the Senior Awards Banquet will be hosted Thursday evening.

Ms. Marshall’s 1st graders got some “help” from Mrs. Thompson’s 4th-grade class through reading buddies. The 4th graders brought books to share with 1st graders, and the 1st graders RACED to their book bins to share a book with their 4th-grade buddy. The kids also enjoyed a popsicle together after reading!

The junior/senior high school is currently having issues with the phone and internet, impacting incoming and outgoing phone calls. The issue is being worked on and will be resolved soon.

Mrs. Schmidt's class raised butterflies from the larva stage and released them Monday. Students have been learning all about the butterfly life cycle and how they metamorphosis.
