On April 25-29, 2023, Marlette BPA National Qualifiers traveled to Anaheim, California, to compete at the 2023 Business Professionals of America National Competition. While there, the students attended numerous BPA leadership activities, participated in a service project for Veterans, took in the beautiful scenery, and, most importantly, competed in their qualified event. Emma Heussner (Graphic Design Promotion), Dalaney Gage (Presentation Management Individual), and Brian Albertson, Westley Chapin, Quintin Sartin (Small Business Team) competed in each of their events on Thursday, with only the Top 10 advancing to the Final Round on Saturday. Dalaney Gage and the Small Business Team advanced to the Final round, earning them 10th place on the National Stage during the 2023 Awards Ceremony. Please congratulate them on a fantastic accomplishment at the National level. Thank you to the following for helping these students accomplish their goals by sending them to the National Competition: P and T Trucking (Traci Bednaryczk Sisson ), Les Phillips and Carol McCready Phillips, Steve Ellis Insurance (Carmin Ellis), Mick Heussner and Kay Heussner, Mrs. Jessica Owens, Neal Bishop, Jill Thomas, Jayne Lefler, Amanda Halvorsen, Shawn Varey, and Denise Bednaryczk.
