
During their writing unit, students in Ms. Marshall’s first-grade class made towers out of marshmallows and spaghetti noodles. Next, they will create a story plan about their experience building the tower. The lesson will culminate as students write a personal story about making their tower.





High School students participated in the Academic Games in Sandusky on Saturday. The Social Studies team took first place in the first two rounds of the competition and second in the final round. Congratulations! We are so proud of you.





Celebrate Valentine's Day with our Varsity Girls Basketball team as we celebrate our seniors during Senior Night! It is a FULL week of outstanding basketball. Go, Red Raiders!

Walking in Marlette Program
Start date: Feb. 14, 2023
Days: Tuesday and Thursday (district may cancel based on school-related events, etc.)
Hours: 6:00 pm-8:00 pm
Who can walk: Anyone in the community that is interested.
**Students may also participate; however, students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Additional info:
Guests will enter at the main entrance, sign in with the supervisor, and sign out when they leave.
Guests are to remain in the designated walking area. Walking areas will be roped off for custodians to do their nightly cleaning routine.
Marlette Community Schools reserves the right to deny anyone participation in the WIM program. All school rules and policies are in effect for this program.

Mrs. Cornwell's students made hats and many other 100th days of school activities.


Mrs. Schmidt's Kindergarten class celebrated 100's day by painting 100 gumballs and making hats with 100 stickers. It was indeed a very joyful day.




We had some stellar performances at the Caro Growler tournament this past weekend. Larry Worth placed 1st, Jensen Pabst, Greyson Pabst, and Kennidy Worth placed 2nd. Congratulations, and thank you for your Marlette Spirit and efforts.


Mrs. Curtis' Young Fives classroom participated in many fun activities for the 100th Day of School. The children counted 100 things, made necklaces, ate a fun snack, and drew a monster with 100 parts.


Marlette wrestlers had an outstanding performance this weekend. John and Westley placed 3rd, and Manus and Turlough placed 1st. Manus also received the Rich Reed Award (League MVP). It is his 3rd time receiving this honor, and he is the only three-time award winner.





Hoops is on the agenda this week. Please get out and cheer on our teams. Here's to a 'Slam Dunk" week!
