Our students expressed their most profound gratitude for the service and sacrifice of our local veterans today. Their bravery has helped ensure our safety and freedom, and we are forever grateful for that. Thank you for answering the call of duty, putting yourselves in harm's way, and embodying the spirit of selflessness and patriotism. Your contribution to our nation will never be forgotten. Thank you to Mr. Yaros for orchestrating an honorable event for our community.

Congratulations to our multi-talented, multi-sport athlete, Dalaney Gage, on signing her letter of intent to play softball. She will commence her collegiate education at Northwood next fall. Thank you for representing the Red Raider spirit with grace, and may it be a life-long inspiration to your future growth as an athlete and student.

Mrs. Mata’s art class has gratitude for our veterans. Students created lovely thank you cards for them. Mrs. Mata recruited Officer Sanchez to deliver the cards to the local VFW.

Mrs. Albertson's kindergarten class has been discussing Veterans Day all week as the students read an article piqued interest in Scholastic News magazine. Students learned about all military branches and what they do. Students made Thank You cards for veterans.

The 1st graders in Kelly Lams' class had a blast at their Halloween celebration! They were so excited to show off their costumes to each other.

The Marlette Band department put on an impressive show yesterday for their Fall Band Concert. The Junior High Band kicked off the night, followed by the Senior High Band led by Mr. Mike Yaros. It was a job well done by the band, and they should be proud of their outstanding performances.

Mr. Marquardt's high school students must have had a great time creating costumes and competing in a knight's tournament. It was an exciting and educational project as the students were able to experience and learn about the social hierarchy during the Middle Ages through their assigned roles.

CONGRATULATIONS to Adilyn Ruggles, recipient of the National Rural and Small Town Award (NRSTA), and Zane Greve, recipient of the National Rural and Small Town Award (NRSTA) and the National Hispanic Recognition Award (NHRA)!

Remember, when students bring in show-and-tell items, projects, or any other materials, it is crucial to ensure they are small enough for the student to carry without assistance safely and can fit on their lap. Our buses are full, and we must ensure students can use every available seat. If an item is too big, we kindly ask the parent to deliver it to the school building and make arrangements to pick it up later.

Congratulations to our Red Raider Pride Ticket winners!
