Officer Sanchez encourages students to study their spelling words! If they get an A or 100% on their spelling test, he stops by the classroom, congratulates them, and gives them a special police sticker! Thank you for supporting our students, Officer Sanchez.

Ian, thank you for sharing your insights about football with us. It is a strategic game where many lessons can be learned outside the classroom. You do indeed possess a leadership mentality.

On Friday, February 9th, two communities will come together to play in a rivalry game on the basketball court, but together, they are fighting for something much bigger than the win. Cancer Awareness is the theme of Sandusky’s Sweetheart ceremony, and together, we are raising money for those affected by this awful disease. Please support this worthy cause and purchase a shirt or sweatshirt to wear on game day. Follow this link to place your orders. https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fnhscancerawareness2023.itemorder.com%2fshop%2fhome%2f&c=E,1,YtfAnGrq2sSCHpkcteRPUgKfQ8bb7vV_XiGyjbbVPINK-hSXC9pA8SDVzIn3jQ36qGMj7Ghcewjl0bqZ68NKxohEmmMrmDy0y6hsNpvMKQ,,&typo=1&ancr_add=1 Stolikers will accept orders until 1/23, and clothing will be ready for pickup on 2/5.

Mr. Marquardt's survival class had an interesting final assessment. Students were required to choose two different environments and create an appropriate shelter for each environment. One shelter had to be built, while the other had to be written out with specific directions. The covers had to match the materials and resources in their respective environments. It was a challenging but rewarding lesson for the students!

Students in Mr. Marquardt's class were tasked with using limited supplies to engineer and design a tower with a globe on top. This project is generating a lot of authentic ideas and good energy.

Renee Magee great test scores
Students in Marlette Preschool were able to engage with literature in such a creative and interactive way. Using animal puppets to retell the story of "The Mitten" by Jan Brett, these young learners could fully immerse themselves in the story and even use the "sneak a peek" feature to see what would happen next. It's essential for children to develop a love of reading from a young age and experiences like this can help foster that passion. Kudos to Ms. Tiffany and the staff at Marlette Preschool for providing their students with such an enriching learning environment!
