
Mark your calendars as the Thumb Sportswriters Association All-Star Basketball Games are set to overtake Marlette on Friday, June 21st.
Get ready for an evening of thrilling basketball action! The Girls ALL-STAR Basketball game will kick-off the excitement at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Boys game at approximately 7:30 p.m. And don't forget the adrenaline-pumping dunk and three-point contests during the breaks!
The cost to attend the athletic festivities is $7.00. Your support is crucial as the proceeds directly benefit the Thumb Sportswriters Association for their awards given throughout the year.
Please note: this event is a special opportunity for our graduating seniors, who are the only ones eligible to play in the games, per MHSAA rules.


Marlette Red Raider Care is truly grateful to MVP Disc Golf for their generous donation. Their gift of a classroom set of discs and a practice bucket for our summer program has significantly impacted our activities. We cannot thank you enough for your support.


Weight room announcement: Marlette, for students in grades 6th-12th, this is a reminder that the weight room will be open for you. Here are the times:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 6:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday and Thursday: 6–7:30 a.m., 8:30–10 a.m., and 6–7:30 p.m.

What an incredible season for Marlette Varsity softball! We fought hard and beat Kingston 1-0 in extra innings in the Regional Semi-final, showing fantastic teamwork and determination. Although we lost to USA in the Regional Finals, we finished the season as District Champs, and that's something to be incredibly proud of. Thank you to all the players, coaches, and fans for your support throughout the season!



What a rollercoaster of a season for the Marlette Varsity Boys Baseball team! We fought hard and came out on top as District and Regional Champions. Although we didn't clinch the Quarterfinals, we still made our mark. Cheers to an unforgettable season. Thank you to the team and coaches for their hard work and dedication to excellence on and off the field.

What a game! Our Boys Baseball team crushed it in the Regional Semi-Final, winning 16-0 against Capac. The Red Raiders secured 11 hits, with five players getting at least 2 RBIs each. Aaron Bower's outstanding pitching performance included giving up only one hit and striking out five batters in all four innings. Even on the last day of school, Mrs. Gentry's students amazed her with their fantastic presentations of their online books! This school year has flown by, and she couldn't be prouder of the books her students wrote as their end-of-the-year project.



What an incredible showing by the Boys Track team at the state meet in Hudsonville! 🏃 The results speak for themselves:
- The 4x200 Relay team of Sartin, Bennett, McIntyre, and Thomas ran a season PR of 1:38.20. 🥇
- The 4x400 team of Bennett, Malloy, Sartin, and Thomas clocked in at 3:43.07. 🏅
- Placing 10th was the 4x800 relay team of Bennett, Rosario, Perna, and Thomas, with 8:35.65. 🏆
- Julius Johnson secured 9th place in Discus with a toss of 131'10. 💪
- Senior Tyler Izydorek made the podium with a 7th-place finish in the pole vault. 🎉
These young men truly embody Marlette's pride! Congratulations to the whole team! 🙌




The 4th graders had an amazing glow party on the last day of school. Thank you to the generous 4th-grade families who donated glow sticks and refreshments for the classes. It was the perfect way to wrap up a year of hard work and fun! 🎉

The students completed an amazing final stem challenge—they had to build their teacher, Mrs. Magee! They even included her salad! 🥗👩🏫 Their creativity and attention to detail are awe-inspiring.








🌞 We wanted to inform you that starting Monday, June 10, our summer hours will be in effect. Our offices will be open from 8 am to 3 pm. The Elementary and junior/senior high offices will be open through June 25 and reopen on August 5, 2024. The Superintendent's office will be open all summer.
