Mr. Lester is a well-loved teacher by his students. Due to athletic schedules, the Senior Awards Banquet will be hosted Thursday evening.

A HOME game for softball is scheduled on Thursday, May 18th at 4 pm. Genesee will be coming to play at Marlette.

Ms. Marshall’s 1st graders got some “help” from Mrs. Thompson’s 4th-grade class through reading buddies. The 4th graders brought books to share with 1st graders, and the 1st graders RACED to their book bins to share a book with their 4th-grade buddy. The kids also enjoyed a popsicle together after reading!

Ms. Deehr is a "Mint" of a teacher. Things I like the most about my Teacher are: -"She is amazing and nice and helpful." -"She is funny." -"She is nice." -"She is so kind." -"She is so kind and nice." My Teacher always says: -"Take your time." -"You are doing your best." -"1, 2, 3..." -"You are doing a great job!" The junior/senior high school is currently having issues with the phone and internet, impacting incoming and outgoing phone calls. The issue is being worked on and will be resolved soon.

Mrs. Cowley's kids enjoyed filling out "Thank You" worksheets. Mrs. Schmidt's class raised butterflies from the larva stage and released them Monday. Students have been learning all about the butterfly life cycle and how they metamorphosis.

For "F" day on their ABC Countdown to the end of the school year, Ms. Marshall's class had a FANCY tea party with apple juice and cookies during snack time.

The kids enjoyed filling out "Thank You" worksheets for Mr. Reynolds. They especially loved writing about how much he loves anything, pumpkin, and the Michigan Wolverines. Things I like the most about my Teacher are: -"Is that he loves pumpkin things" -"He is funny & weird." -"He is nice to everyone." -"He says he loves pumpkin." -"Loves pumpkin!" -"He is nice." -"How funny he is!" -"Very goofy and funny." -"He's nice." -"Because he gives us free time." Mr. Reynolds, thanks for making your 3rd graders "laugh a latte." You are very much appreciated!! Enjoy a "pumpkin latte" on us with this Starbucks gift card.

When Mrs. Lam's 1st graders were asked what they liked about her, they said..."She is fun," "She is kind," "She is nice to us," "She is nice," "I love her," "She is nice," "She is amazing," "She is pretty," and "She is the best"! Thank you, Mrs. Lams, for showing niceness to our 1st graders. You are very much appreciated!! Your 1st graders "are so lucky to hang around with you every day!" Ms. Stockmeyer is the coolest. How cool, you ask? Well, her students feel she is nice & kind, which makes her so cool! Thank you so much, Ms. Stockmeyer, for showing our students kindness! Why do our students adore Mrs. Schmidt? 5th graders expressed what they liked the most about Mr. Boyle. They all said something about his jokes, humor, and funniness. The students felt that he was the BEST TEACHER IN THE WORLD. Some of their comments included: "He helps me with Math," "I like everything" x 50 plus students, "He lets us watch Bill Nye," "He gives us computer time," "He's funny and has real humor, and is not strict", "He is funny and tells jokes", "He is funny and is good at Math", "He is cool and funny", "He tells jokes and teaches Math well," "He is funny" x 50 plus students, "He is nice and knows a lot", "He is generous", "He is cool" and "He is incredible, and amazing, the best. " Thank you so much, Mr. Boyle, for being the Best teacher in the world and showing our 5th graders that school can be fun. You are very much appreciated! "Any way you slice it, you are amazing"!
