Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today to sincerely apologize for the delay in notifying you about the cancellation of bus service for Justin Marquardt's route (15a-Orange Heart) this morning. Unfortunately, we faced an unexpected challenge due to the driver's illness, which impacted our ability to communicate this change promptly.
We understand the inconvenience this may have caused you and your family as you arranged your student's transportation. Ensuring the safety and reliability of our transportation services is one of our top priorities, and we are committed to keeping you informed as promptly as possible in the future.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we navigate these challenges. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Please note that Justin Marquardt's bus (15a-Orange Heart) will not be in service for pick-up this morning or drop-off this afternoon. Please make alternate arrangements to get your student(s) to and from school today. Thank you for your flexibility as we manage transportation changes.

🦃 Creative minds at work! Mrs. Magee's class had so much fun disguising their turkeys and crafting imaginative stories about how their turkey friends are hiding from the butcher this Thanksgiving! 🥳✨ It's amazing to see their creativity come to life as they share how their turkeys outsmart the holiday hustle. 🥸🍂 Check out their fantastic disguises and get ready for some giggles! #Thanksgiving #CreativeKids

🌍 Today, 3rd-grade students explored the fascinating world of the eight biomes and discussed practical ways we can help save them! Each biome is essential for our planet’s health, from the icy tundra's to the vibrant rainforests. Our students developed amazing ideas to impact and protect these vital ecosystems positively. Let’s all do our part to preserve our beautiful Earth! 💚🌱 #Biomes

Play smart and play together! Good luck, team! 🤜🤛

The week of Thanksgiving, there will not be after-school tutoring at the elementary school.

May the baskets be plentiful and the spirits high! 🎈 Go, Red Raiders.

Red Raider Care will be open Tuesday, November 26, following the 12:30 p.m. dismissal until regular closing time. We will also be open Wednesday, November 27. Please email tbrooks@marletteschools.org to reserve your spot.

Our young explorers in Mrs. Gentry's class had an amazing time discovering the three soil horizons in nature! 🌍🍂 They made fantastic connections between their classroom learning and the real-world soil around them. Equipped with magnifying glasses, students keenly observed the soil and identified different types of particles—sand, clay, and loam. Seeing their curiosity in action was incredible as they deepened their understanding of the environment. Great job, little scientists! Keep exploring! 🌟🧑🔬 #YoungExplorers

🚍 **Attention Families**
On Friday, November 22nd, Tammy Dobbelaere (22a-blue circle) will not be driving her PM route, and Amy Choike (17a-green star) will not be driving her PM route. Please arrange alternate transportation for your children.🌟🚍

High fives and cheers to Parker North for earning the honor of Student of the Week. You are an exceptional student and role model for others.
