🏆⚾️ MASAP Baseball Tournament Brings the Thumb Together in Marlette! ⚾️🏆
What a fantastic weekend at the annual MASAP (Marlette Area Summer Athletic Program) Baseball Tournament held at the Marlette Community Schools Athletic Complex! We had an incredible turnout with 23 teams from all over the Thumb, showcasing talent from Marlette, Brown City, Sandusky, Harbor Beach, Caro, Cass City, Bad Axe, USA, and North Branch.
Players competed fiercely in the 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions, creating an atmosphere filled with hometown pride and sportsmanship. It was heartwarming to see friends from travel teams go head-to-head representing their respective hometowns—just another reason why this weekend is so special for our players and families!
A massive shoutout to our community—players, coaches, parents, and volunteers—for coming together to make this event a success.
Special thanks to:
- Mike Nickens for prepping the facilities,
- The Marlette Volleyball program for running the concessions,
- And a huge round of applause for Katie Barrett, who has dedicated a decade to coordinating the MASAP league and this tournament!
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this weekend unforgettable for our community and youth athletes! Here’s to celebrating our love of the game! 💙⚾️ #MASAP2023 #CommunityStrong #YouthBaseball
