Following the reading, students participated in a discussion and responded to a question about the narrative. The student who provided the correct answer was awarded a prize. Miss Cook and her students have been very busy! Last week, they celebrated receiving their Leader Letters with a fun pizza party! 🍕 They are already halfway to another celebration, having earned five more Leader Letters since then—just waiting on that final one! Woohoo!
They also had a unique visitor—Courtney Pezo brought in her adorable puppy, Buddy! 🐾 The kids loved getting to meet him!
In science, the kiddos have been diving into some fun topics! A couple of weeks ago, they explored how seeds spread, and last Friday, they investigated animal habitats and learned how to identify signs of animals in the area. 🦊🐦 It’s been a blast! It has been a stellar year for Marlette BPA! 🎉 Our 27 students competed fiercely at the State Leadership Conference in Grand Rapids, bringing home 10 medals! Congratulations to Red Raiders, Alexandra Findlay and Westley Chapin, for their Top 5 finishes in Extemporaneous Speech and to Alexandra Findlay and Nolan Greve for qualifying for Nationals in Orlando!
