In Mr. Herman's 7th Grade Geography class, students learned how maps are created and their different purposes. The kids wrapped up the lesson by exploring the challenge of representing a 3D object (like the Earth) on a 2D map. During a hands-on demonstration, students drew the Earth on a lime and then peeled it. Mr. Herman's room now smells like a tropical paradise! #GeographyClass #HandsOnLearning 🌍🍋
