It's that time of year, and we have a fun day planned for our students to celebrate.

We love our new Red Raider, Makayla Hudson and appreciate your great sense of humor.

Congratulations, Keanna Rodriquez for you accomplishments with your art!

This week Ms. Melissa was able to spend some time in classrooms talking about inclusion. She read the book "You are Enough". "Being inclusive" was defined as being kind and respectful to all classmates even when they might not look the same way, act the same way or like the same things we like. Ms. Melissa plans to visit more classrooms next week to talk about inclusion.

Pupils had the learning opportunity to create primitive models to build friction and then fire. Lots of testing and enthusiasm went into this project. They have yet to make a fire but are not giving up. The class that can get their gadgets to work will be rewarded with pizza! You can imagine the motivation!

With last night's victory over Harbor Beach, the Red Raiders clinched a share of the GTC East League title. This is the 2nd consecutive year that we won our conference.
And, a massive shout-out of congratulations to Coach Bishop, who earned her 100th career victory in Marlette.

Our wellness team ventured into classrooms and rewarded some staff with their favorite treats. Several of our teachers wore pink to honor those diagnosed with breast cancer.

Please go over the Bus "Be" Rules with your children.

Elementary school students enjoyed musical culture this afternoon as the Band visited and played several musical renditions with the lights out. Our students were captivated by the colors and, of course, the music. Thank you to Mr. Yaros and the Band for orchestrating such a fun event for our students.

The JV tournament at CARO is canceled. We apologize for the late notice. We were just alerted of the change.

Good luck, to our Red Raiders tonight!

Use caution, please when you are on the road with a school bus.

It is a Thursday night Varsity Football night under the lights. Go, Red Raiders.

We have many two-lane roads in our county.

Mrs. Magee's 3rd graders adopted a dairy cow! On 10/17/23, the host farm shared a photo of our new calf! It was named Cookie Crumb, weighed 90 pounds, and was 26 inches tall! Cookie Crumb should gain 1 1/2 to 2 pounds daily and be fully grown in 2 years.
The students are learning about dairy cows and their farms over the next several weeks!
We appreciate the community partnership we have with Discover Dairy.

Students, please register to attend the scheduled college visits.
