The Elementary Student Council is having a fundraiser! You can purchase a hoodie for $28.00 or a t-shirt for $15.00.
The money and order forms are due back on December 4th. The shirts will be delivered before the Christmas break, so you'll have plenty of time to show off your new gear!

The PENut (Physical Education and Nutrition Working Together) lady visited 2nd grade last week and 4th grade today. She brought essential lessons on hand washing, creative ways to be active, and a healthy snack that included many food groups! The students love learning with Mrs. Ross!

We thank Hart Realty for bringing the elementary staff hot chocolate and donuts. On this cold, damp day, it is the perfect treat to get us through the day. We appreciate our community partners including our PTO for picking everything up from Tim Horton's.
They continuously show our educators how much they care about our staff, teachers, and especially our students.

There's no school tomorrow, so let's get out and cheer our time for a win tonight!

Gabby Martinez will sign her National Letter of Intent in the Media Center tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. We are so proud of her accomplishments and cannot wait to see what the future holds for her!

Good luck to our team, tonight!

Last call for Young Cheer! If you want to sign up, please email Coach Baleigh the following information by November 24th: Student Name, Grade, Parent Name, and Parent Email Address. We are excited about the Clinic on November 30th and performance on December 1st, 2023.

McKenna, thank you for setting a positive example in gym class!

You are an exceptional student and helper in the classroom, Caleigh!

Audriana, we are so proud of your leadership in the classroom.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday!

It was a day of recognizing that our elementary students are committed to putting bullying to rest. Many wore pajamas to celebrate the pledge, and all had fun.

The third-graders are learning about the first people of Michigan and were recently visited by storyteller Genot Picor. He is also a French Voyager who shares his fascinating stories about Michigan pioneers and educates students about the various tools used in the past for survival.
The kids enjoyed his music as he sang songs, danced with them, and introduced them to new French vocabulary.

Ms. Marshall’s class achieved all their LEADER letters for excellent behavior in the hallway. They are grateful to the family of one of the students in their class for sponsoring their pizza party reward. It was a well-deserved treat after all their hard work and good behavior.

Marlette Elementary students and faculty members had a fun day yesterday as they expressed themselves by wearing odd socks! It was a great way to celebrate their individuality and embrace differences. After all, being different makes us unique and special.

Ms. Melissa has completed the inclusion lessons in all elementary classrooms. This week is anti-bullying week and the celebration of World Kindness Day. Today, many students and staff adorned odd socks to show we are all unique and different. Tomorrow is pajama day when we will all "Put A Rest to Bullying."
