We are excited for our seven high school students to compete in the Quiz Bowl at Bad Axe. Please wish them well as they represent Marlette and use their knowledge in this competitive Bowl.


Our students got into the spirit to celebrate the Detroit Lions last Friday by making signs and wearing Lions colors. We congratulate the Lions for their valiant efforts and look forward to rooting for them next season. #NFL #detroitlions #detroit

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training is offered to seniors enrolled in a Sanilac Career Center program. The course consists of 120 hours of classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training exercises. The student will drive and operate a commercial truck while accompanied by a professional driving instructor during the course. Students will be released from their Career Center program twice a week from October to December to complete the classroom instruction. https://youtu.be/iPnlImAU338

Our Girls Varsity game is canceled for tonight due to snowy conditions. No make-up date had been announced.


The Careers in Education Program at the Sanilac Career Center is a two-year curriculum that provides high school students with classroom experiences that will enable them to make informed decisions regarding careers in education and begin training in the field of education. On Sunday, Marlette Impact Wrestling hosted a tournament at the high school. Our wrestlers did a fantastic job and represented our community well! Harper Pabst and Xavier Frazier came away with first-place medals, Hunter Noble got a 2nd place medal, and Riley Noble earned a pin! Also wrestling were Bryson Smith and Ricky Davidson.
