Marlette Elementary staff and faculty always show dedication to the kids! Today, several of them volunteered to get slimed at Field Day, all for the sake of fun and laughter. The kids had an amazing time, and it was truly a wonderful day of outdoor fun!

Today, some students at Marlette Elementary had a fantastic time exploring and learning at the Sloan Museum in Flint! 🚌🔬 It was a fantastic opportunity for them to discover and engage with history and science in a fun and interactive way. The students in Mrs. Cooper's class worked so hard to earn their DOJO points for lunch with their teacher. Some students even combined points, so each of the students was able to join! They enjoyed recess and then came in for lunch with the teacher while they watched Bluey! 🍎📚

Our team's collective effort led to a commendable 11th place finish for the Girls and a strong 6th place finish for the Boys at MITCA D4 team states! Let's delve into the outstanding individual performances:
Olivia Findlay soared to 1st place in both the High Jump and Long Jump, and dashed to a fantastic 4th place in the 100 Hurdles.
Luke Thomas impressed with a 2nd place finish in the 400m Dash.
Lily Lemanski showcased her talent with a solid 5th-place finish in the 800m Run.
Triston King delivered a solid performance, earning 4th place in the Long Jump event.
Logan Malloy soared to 1st place in the Pole Vault, while Tyler Izydorek and Alexandra Findlay excelled, securing 2nd and 3rd place in the same event.
The Boy's 1600m Relay team demonstrated their skill, finishing 5th, while the Boy's 3200m Relay team secured a commendable 4th place.
The third through fifth graders had a blast celebrating their hard work on benchmark and M-STEP testing at the annual Color Run on Gayle's Trail! A big thank you to all the awesome volunteers who made this day extra special for everyone.
