Congratulations to Mrs. Magee's class for putting in their best effort and showing growth on their benchmark testing. Your hard work paid off!

Students in Marlette Preschool were able to engage with literature in such a creative and interactive way. Using animal puppets to retell the story of "The Mitten" by Jan Brett, these young learners could fully immerse themselves in the story and even use the "sneak a peek" feature to see what would happen next. It's essential for children to develop a love of reading from a young age and experiences like this can help foster that passion. Kudos to Ms. Tiffany and the staff at Marlette Preschool for providing their students with such an enriching learning environment!

Good luck to our wrestlers tomorrow. Go Red Raiders!

The Wellness Team would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Marlette Elementary School. Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. Your unwavering commitment to our students' education and well-being is truly inspiring.

Ethan, your kindness is noticed by many. Keep spreading it to everyone in our community. It means a lot to all of us.

Makayla, thank you for always coming to class ready to learn. You are an excellent example for your classmates as you dedicate yourself to always working hard.

Congratulations, Chet on being a superstar in and out of the classroom!

Today in Bad Axe, Turlough Bennett picked up his 100th career win with a first-period pin at the Wayne Brady Classic! Congratulations, Turlough!

In Mrs. Bennett's 7th grade class, the students were practicing their skills of calculating percent increase and decrease. They were divided into teams and were sent on a scavenger hunt to find percent change questions, which were posted in various locations around the school. The solution to one problem led them to the next question.
This lesson was quite challenging because the students had to solve each question correctly in order to move on to the next one, instead of just following the posters they saw. They had to be math detectives and remember where they found the clues as they went along.

The basketball games against Sandusky are canceled due to the threat of inclement weather. Stay safe, Marlette families.
