Denise Bednaryczk is challenging her students to learn more about the favorite books of staff members. Mrs. Bednaryczk created an artistic bulletin board with pictures of books. Students are tasked with determining which staff member chose which book. The students are taking the challenge seriously and are taking their time researching the books. Participants will be entered to win a prize for the most matches of favorite books loved by staff. Stay tuned for the results!

Last week, with our Snowcoming festivities, was a busy week. Special thanks to Mrs. Prill for all her hard work during the week to help make all the events magical, and thank you to the staff and volunteers who contributed. A special shout out to those staff who cut, chopped, and shaved their hair on Friday to support the Williams family.
It was a unique and kind gesture to offer one of our students and their family members. https://midmichigannow.com/news/local/marlette-high-school-students-raise-more-than-7000-for-student-battling-cancer?fbclid=IwAR1Jc9jz4Qi9JSknLD9AIdFk3JE6hjykStqK_wkU2JB6k5AwVK09qK_yUuk

The 7th grade has embarked on the journey of understanding the history and significance of the Roman Empire. They started with one of their toughest challenges: students had to create aqueducts. They ran into a few snags but overcame the obstacles. Mr. Marquardt's big pitch to the students was that if you struggled to go 15 feet, imagine building one 5 miles. The students had fun and worked hard to get results.

Congratulations to our Snowcoming Royalty, who were voted by their peers this weekend!
Prince and Princess: Jonathan Johnson and Daya Gentry
King and Queen: Iyzeah Wolf and Gabby Martinez
