Before the rain hit this week, Mrs. Albertson’s kindergarten students enjoyed the weather while learning about nature. The kids ventured on a nature walk and drew what they heard and saw on a sun-drenched day.


Our smart kids are learning about engineering and construction by building bridge models in their STEM class. It's inspiring to see young minds engaged in hands-on learning and developing their skills for the future. One day, they may be interested in building bridges that connect communities and change the world.

Several churches in the area came together for Good Friday services and collected an offering specifically earmarked for the school's Backpack Program. The generous donation of $635.74 will go a long way in helping families in need with food and other supplies. Seeing the community come together for such a worthy cause is heartening. We are delighted to announce the outstanding achievements of our talented students in the First Impressions competition. Blake Strickler secured an impressive second place in 3D sculpture, while Alayna Martiss received an honorable mention. Sam Bishop clinched the top spot in poetry, with Graycee Fisher receiving an honorable mention. Neveah Hinojosa and Faith Sexton won second and third place, respectively, in poetry, and Chloe Holbach secured second in non-fiction. Micah Dale was honored for his exceptional work in the same category. Alayna Martiss and Nico Perna also received honorable mentions for their outstanding work in fiction. Adaleena Gulla's creative skills shone through in her third-place win for the color artistic poster, and Addison Liccardello received an honorable mention. Carter Schlueter and Kendall Thompson received honorable mentions for their impressive black-and-white artistic poster. Allie Delmage's work in color photography received an honorable mention, and Hallie Lester secured second place in black and white photography. Yesterday was truly unforgettable for the students at our elementary school as they witnessed a rare cosmic phenomenon - a solar eclipse! ☀️🌑🔭 The students were beyond excited to witness this stunning event, and they watched in awe as the moon passed in front of the sun. 🌙🌞 It was an excellent opportunity for them to learn about the wonders of our universe, and we're glad to have been a part of it! 🌌 #SolarEclipse #ScienceIsFun
