What an exciting Friday morning in Mrs. Magee's class! Students had a blast predicting their class calf's height, enjoyed a visit from local firefighters while learning about a fire truck, and even got creative making wigwam habitats like the first people of Michigan dwelled in for shelter.🐮🚒🏕️ #HandsOnLearning #EducationJourney

Firefighters Jess, Chad and Ryan came to visit our Young 5's class today and taught us all about the different types of fire trucks and how they help us. The kids had a blast learning about the important work that firefighters do every day to keep us safe. Thank you, Firefighters, for an educational and fun visit! 🚒🔥 #CommunityHeroes #FireSafetyEducation

We kindly ask for your patience today to ensure every child gets home safely after school. Due to the high volume of pick-ups at the elementary school, our staff is working diligently to coordinate the dismissal process. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safety of all our students.

Who's ready for some Friday Night Lights? Our Homecoming football game is tonight! - Come out and enjoy the celebrations! #HomeGame #FridayNightLights #FootballSeason

📣 Exciting news! Our 6th-12th grade students have officially named our Red Raider mascot. Meet Roy Raider, the newest member of our Marlette Community! 🎉🔴 #RoyRaider #MarlettePride

Per the strong suggestion of our fire department, our fireworks display for tomorrow night will be postponed. Because of the dry field conditions and the local field fires that have sprouted recently, it is in the interest of safety that we do not host the fireworks after the football game. We appreciate the support of the Chamber of Commerce and thank them for their efforts to make this weekend extraordinary.
