🚨 Attention Marlette Community! 🚨
Click this link to read a letter from our Superintendent https://5il.co/3p1bg.
As we begin the 2025–26 school year, a pressing issue has arisen that could have a significant impact on our students and schools. The state budget deadline has come and gone with no agreement, and we need Marlette Community voices more than ever!
💔 Currently, one in 10 districts in Michigan has had to make cuts due to budget uncertainty. If lawmakers do not act soon, we risk missing crucial funding that supports our teachers, class sizes, and essential programs.
📅 Our first state aid payment is due on October 20, and without a budget, we could potentially lose $600,000 every month. We cannot let this happen.
➡️ Speak up! Contact State Representatives and urge them to prioritize K–12 education and protect the School Aid Fund. Our children deserve the education they need to thrive!
Together, we can make a difference! Let's advocate for a fully funded and stable school year for all our students.

Today in 7th Grade World History, our students officially became 🌍 time travelers! ✈️🕰️
Each student created their very own Time Traveler Passport 📜 to document their journey through history. They decorated the covers to make them unique and personal 🎨. Throughout the year, as we explore new units and big topics 🔍📚, students will earn a special stamp from Professor Past Tense (Mr. Herman)🧑🏫📬 and color in their pages to celebrate the adventures we’ve completed 🖍️.
This passport will be their record of traveling across time ⏳ and around the world 🌏—one stamp, one memory, one discovery at a time! 🔖🗺️

🚀 Big day in Robotics! 🤖
Today, our Robotics & Engineering students hopped behind the controls and drove the robot for the very first time! 🌟 For many, this was their first chance to take the wheel—and the excitement in the room was electric! ⚡️
This is just the beginning of an incredible year ahead. 🎉 We’ll keep building our skills as we learn how the robot works, design and program it, and operate as a team. 👩💻👨💻
Stay tuned… these future engineers are just getting started! 🔧✨
