During her Winter Break, Marlette graduate Baleigh Brooks took the time to visit Marlette Elementary School, where she conducted informative talks on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As a first-year ASD teacher at Burton Elementary in the Berkley School District, she shared valuable insights about how students with ASD learn, behave, and interact in the general education classroom. The sessions were interactive, and the students were fully engaged as they enjoyed her inspiring slideshow presentation. Thank you, Baleigh, for raising awareness and fostering understanding in our schools!
