
K-2 virtual families- If you picked up a red and black iPad from us, please plan to bring it back Thursday or Friday after school, 3:30-4:30. We apologize, but the old iPads will not access Brightspace as we had hoped. We will trade your old iPad for a newer iPad that does work.

School has started! We had a wet first morning, but everyone is ready for a new year!

Bus changes must be communicated to school offices no later than 9 a.m. each day. Changes are limited to students' previously designated stops.

Sanilac Career Center lost power; AM session will remain until their normal dismissal time. PM session is cancelled.

Free Lunch! Just a reminder that lunches for ALL students will be free until December 31, 2020 or until USDA program funds are depleted. Breakfast will be free for all students for the entire year.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for our first day of school. Don’t forget our drop off routine at the elementary building. One parent may walk their student to class on the first day of school. Doors open at 8:00 am.


Jr/Sr High School Students Google Account passwords will be reset back to the default password on Monday, Sept. 7 during the afternoon or evening. If your student can not remember the default password, please call the HS office on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Skyward accounts will remain the same.

Elementary picture day is Monday, September 14. Virtual families, please let us know when you can get your child here for a picture and we will do the best we can to accommodate you. Retakes are October 21.

Marlette Community Schools will be offering FREE breakfast and lunch to all virtual enrolled students until December 31, 2020 or until USDA funds are depleted. You may sign up to receive take-home meals for Monday –Friday when school is in session. Please continue to complete free and reduced meal forms for when the lunches are no longer free. Our hours would likely be 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Hard copies are available for pick up in the elementary office during normal business hours.

ATHLETICS UPDATE: With no further information from the MHSAA we are forced to cancel volleyball and soccer competitions through Sept. 4th and Junior High volleyball schedule is canceled through Sept 11th. Cross Country will compete Sept 3rd at Brown City. Good Luck!

ELEMENTARY REMINDER: Technology pick up day is Thursday, September 3, 8-3. Follow the signs. Please return technology you borrowed over the spring before then. Bills will be mailed for missing technology on Thursday.


Students will receive a list of bus rules at the beginning of the school year. Additional rules are in place because of COVID protocols.
