With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Shelley Roland, Marlette's beloved former band and choir director. Shelley dedicated many years to shaping and building the music program, inspiring generations of students with her passion, high expectations, and unwavering support. With her guidance, Marlette Band and Choir consistently excelled musically and culturally. She cared deeply for her students, always pushing them to be their best musically and personally.
Her legacy is still evident in Marlette and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, but her impact will never be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of learning from her.
