🌟🎉 Our 4th graders kicked off their ABC countdown to the last day of school with a fantastic start! They celebrated "A for APPRECIATION DAY," where students wrote heartfelt notes to their loved ones, sharing gratitude and joy. Next up was "B for BUBBLE DAY," complete with a bubble-blowing contest and a fun lesson on the history of bubblegum! 🎈💌 It's been a blast making memories as we count down to summer! #ABCountDown #4thGraders

The Sanilac County First Impressions contest celebrated the creativity of K-12 students, and Marlette had some impressive winners! In the 3D sculpture category, the 5th grade saw Emily Klobnock earn an Honorable Mention, while Evelynn Wood secured 3rd place. Finlee Hunter from 5th grade received an Honorable Mention for poetry, and Emily Klobnock took 3rd place. Seventh grader Virginia Dean claimed 2nd place, with Ashlyn Hobson earning an Honorable Mention.
In 5th grade, Sarai Arradondo won 3rd place in nonfiction, and again, Emily Klobnock received an Honorable Mention. Liam Bliss won 1st place in fiction, with Landon Bullock taking 3rd.
For artistic posters in color, Jazmin Kolakowski stood out with 1st place in 5th grade, while Landon Bullock received an Honorable Mention. In 6th grade, Carter Schlueter took 2nd place, and Kendall Thompson was honored with a Mention.
In the black and white artistic poster category, Haley Hooker earned 2nd place in 5th grade, and Jazmin Kolakowski received Honorable Mention, while Alexandria Delmage from 6th grade also earned an Honorable Mention.
Photography also had remarkable entries! In color, Caitlin Ruggles from 6th grade received 2nd place; in 5th grade, Landon Bullock got an Honorable Mention. For black-and-white photography, Landon Bullock took home 1st place, with Pyper Setser following close behind in 2nd.
