Mrs. Gentry’s 4th-grade class did an outstanding job on their ELA opinion writing assignment, “Doing What’s Right.” Students shared thoughtful perspectives on honesty, truthfulness, and integrity—qualities that help us grow as individuals and build trust with others. Many highlighted that “honesty is the best policy,” supporting their views with real-life examples and making strong connections to the book “My Life as a Book,” which they read together in class.
Mrs. Gentry is so proud of her students’ hard work and the meaningful reflections they shared! #ProudTeacher #ELA #IntegrityMatters

Mr. Crane’s Aerospace class took an exciting field trip to Marlette Airport yesterday! The class, designed as an overview of all segments of aviation, wraps up with this hands-on visit to see and sit in real airplanes. Students had the unique opportunity to meet with local aviators and aircraft owners, hear about their experiences, and experience several aircraft cockpits—a rare treat for most students.
Mr. Crane and his students extend their appreciation to the local airport manager, aviators, and aircraft owners for sharing their stories and generously opening the world of aviation to his students. Their willingness to give their time and expertise, and to let students experience real aircraft up close, highlights what a wonderful and supportive community Marlette has!
