Mrs. Kay Taylor has been behind the wheel of a Marlette Schools' bus for 30 years. She drives her regular route and also transports Career Center students daily.
She is a graduate of Marlette High School, as are both of her children. She chose to begin driving bus because she wanted to have the same schedule as her children.
"I love driving, and I've been able to go to many interesting places. I absolutely love seeing a child progress through their school years (and beyond). Seeing a student overcome an issue and mature from that is probably the most rewarding thing."
Mrs. Linda Laursen, Transportation Assistant, states, "Kay is a very safe driver,transporting our sports teams to many events. It is a privilege to have her knowledge and experience on the transportation team."
