Mr. Denny Lester has been on the District's teaching staff for 15 years. He currently teaches 5th grade. Mr. Lester is a Marlette graduate, as is his wife, and their two children currently attend Marlette Schools.
When asked why he chose to work in Marlette, he stated, "This is my home town and I wanted to make a difference in the lives of Marlette students just like the teachers made an impact in my life. I love the people that I work with. I also enjoy building great relationships with my students and seeing their faces as they achieve in the classroom."
Mr. Lester is also the varsity football coach and coaches junior high basketball.
Elementary Principal Jason Vislosky states, "Mr. Lester is an amazing educator. He has taught for fifteen years at MES, but is in his second year of teaching all subjects in fifth grade and he is absolutely crushing it! Students are always engaged and he builds great relationships with our students and their families."
