The principal of our high school, Jessica Owen, strongly advocates for providing students with the best possible education experience. She has been the principal since December 2021, is dedicated to putting students at the center of everything she does, and always looks for ways to help them succeed. Jessica is deeply committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams after high school and works tirelessly to build strong relationships with her students.
Jessica's ultimate goal is to create educational partnerships with her students that last long after they graduate. She wants to see her students become successful adults who give back to their communities and help the next generation achieve their goals. After college, Jessica lived in New Mexico for a while before returning to Michigan to be closer to her family.
In addition to her principal work, Jessica is passionate about organization and clean spaces. She is a big fan of DIY projects and loves using Pinterest to find inspiration for decorating her home. Since her children attend Marlette, she can often be seen attending activities in our schools.
