Sarah Mata is a highly talented K-12 art teacher at Marlette. She infuses her creative ideas and techniques into the lessons she teaches to her students. Having been a teacher for 14 years and with Marlette for three years, she has significantly contributed to the school's education system.

Sarah and her family have a deep connection to Marlette, as her husband's family attended school in the district, and her daughter is also studying there. Sarah's exceptional skills in organizing and creating spaces for student independence are highly appreciated. She strives to provide equal opportunities to all students to help them succeed in their respective fields.

Apart from teaching, Sarah loves exploring nature by hiking with her family and playing video games. She is also an animal lover and has a special place in her heart for them.
