Marlette Community Schools

Ms. Betsy Herron is a dedicated Junior/Senior High School Administrative Assistant serving the district since December 2016. She graduated from Adrian College and worked for ten years at the YMCA, where she developed a passion for working with children aged between 2 1/2 years and 18 years old. After moving back to Marlette, she decided to pursue a career working with children, as she loves their energy and enjoys the challenge of finding ways to relate to students positively.

Ms. Herron believes in the power of communication and feels that students perform better when expectations are communicated to them. She is proud to see students evolve into responsible and productive members of society who can safely navigate any environment.

In her free time, Mrs. Herron enjoys visiting thrift stores to look for baskets to add to her collection, shopping in antique malls, and playing euchre with her friends.
