STAFF HIGHLIGHT

Mrs. Anne Redman has been the welcoming face of the elementary school for many years. She graduated from Marlette High School, as did her four children.  She now has grandchildren in the district.

"I love kids! When I first started working here I wanted to be on the same schedule as my children. Even though my children have long since graduated I still enjoy coming to work here every day! I started working here as a substitute para-pro. After a few years of subbing, Mr. Conard took a chance on me and hired me to work in the elementary library. I worked in the library for a couple years and then there was an opening in the office. Mr. Lange asked if I might be willing to try it. It must be working out okay, they haven't gotten rid of me yet. I really do enjoy my job and I feel very blessed to be able to work with the best staff!"

She says the most rewarding part of her job is seeing the kids grow and learn each year.

Elementary Principal Jason Vislosky states, "Mrs. Redman is everything for us at Marlette Elementary. She's a counselor, mediator, secretary, nurse, assistant principal, and on and on. There isn't anything Mrs. Redman doesn't help with and always with a smile on her face. Everyone loves her and I can't imagine what it would be like without her here. She is the glue that holds everything together. If you ask her, she'll just downplay how important she is because she is so humble and kind. We love you Mrs. Redman!"
