Ms. Betsy Herron is the first person most will see when they enter the Jr/Sr High School. She has worked in the Jr/Sr High School office since December of 2016. When asked why she joined our staff, she replied, "It was a great opportunity to torture the nephew who was still enrolled! He wasn't too excited about his Aunt being here full time and his Dad subbing..." (She has had two nephews graduate from Marlette Schools and she is also a Marlette grad.)
She says the thing she likes best about her job is that it is never the same... the tasks are but the situations are not... The students keep it interesting. Principal Kohler had this to say about Ms. Herron, "Betsy is such an integral part of the success of our daily building operations. She is the smiling face that greets everyone who enters our office and she is the 'bridge' that connects countless needs to solutions. Betsy's best quality is the positive approach she brings to work with her each and every day. She loves the Marlette community and MCS. She is such a wonderful employee for us!"
