STAFF HIGHLIGHT

Mr. Nick Meyers had never heard of Marlette until he applied for a position at a neighboring district. That district passed his resume along to Marlette Community Schools because they knew we were looking for someone with his certifications. He has been here for 13 years and currently teaches Science and Geography to 7th and 8th graders.

"I have enjoyed working in the community so I have never left. There is just something special about this little town that has kept me here." Mr. Meyers said.  He added, "I enjoy the humor that kids express during the day. It is very rewarding to see a student put in the time and effort and have it pay off with a high grade."

"Mr. Meyers is a positive role model for our student population. The students have the utmost respect for Mr. Meyers because they can see how much he cares about them as students and young people.  His passionate and caring personality is a perfect fit for our junior high aged students. Mr. Meyers is able to take difficult scientific concepts and break them down in a way that is easy to understand for our young students. Thank you Mr. Meyers for all of your hard work and dedication you give to Marlette Schools. Additionally, Mr. Meyers is an avid MSU fan, so Go State!" Principal Kohler stated.
