Ms. Holly Holmes is a custodian in the elementary school. "Miss Holly" has been with the District since 1998. She stated she was young when she started at the then Marlette Middle School. She wasn't happy where she was working and wanted as different of a job as she could find.
Miss Holly has two children who both attended/attend Marlette Schools. Her grandchildren are also now attending.
"Not everyone can do it [my job]. It takes a strong stomach, an assiduity. I enjoy being able to interact with the children on a different level than teachers. I don't have to teach them any more than good manners and kindness. I get to ask them about their day, just to be there. I am very lucky to have been a part of so many young people's lives".
