🎶 This week, our 4th and 5th-grade musicians are composing their own adventures in the world of electronic music! Today’s lesson was truly avant-garde, as students were introduced to the theremin—a pioneering instrument played legato and senza touch, using only hand gestures to modulate pitch and dynamics via an electromagnetic field.

By moving their hands to glissando between notes and crescendo or decrescendo the volume, students discovered firsthand how technology orchestrates sound in innovative ways.
